Job Posting: Thin-film solar cell process engineer - Silicon Valley Based
We are a fast growing Stealth Mode Solar company funded by leading venture capitalists and is located in Sunnyvale, California. 

Summary:
We are looking for the technology leaders working on cutting edge thin-film solar cell technology development. They will be responsible for these projects from conception to implementation into high volume manufacturing. This includes, but is not limited to; understanding the fundamental process requirements, researching and developing new improved processes, interacting with suppliers, presenting to executives and interfacing with several other groups within our company.

Job Descriptions
· Design, execute and analyze experiments for the development of new process viable for high volume manufacturing
· Work with vendors to coordinate material supply and service
· Responsible for failure analysis of processes that are in the early development phase
· Interacting closely with members of the R&D group to provide specifications, qualifications and solutions for new products
·  Perform cost and business analysis of new processes and equipment 


Requirements

· M.S and PhD preferred in related majors (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering
· 3-5 year Solar industry experience required, thin-film solar technology experience preferred
· front-end and back-end solar process experience required
· Understanding of electrochemistry, thin film deposition process, and vacuum system.
· Exceptional analytical skills, independent problem solving skills and attention to detail 
· Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deliverable deadlines amidst changing requirements, deadlines and priorities 
· Ability to be creative, versatile, efficient and productive with minimal supervision or guidance
